History

Founded in 1996 by Miguy Gourège and Solange Park, this specialized school welcomed disabled young people from the West Coast of Mauritius living between Bambous and Le Morne. By taking care of these young disabled people, they not only wanted to get them out of isolation, but also relieve their parents of constant surveillance, which freed them up for other household chores and possibly allowed them to take employment.
